The CCIJ provides information to
survivors of atrocities about various ways they can seek justice, including legal options.
Although the CCIJ's work is primarily focused on
bringing to justice alleged human rights abusers present in Canada, we may be able to assist in
other situations as well.
There
are challenges in pursuing any
of these options, but the CCIJ works to provide survivors the
appropriate information about such remedies, and support them as they
navigate the appropriate
system.
The CCIJ also makes sure that survivors have access to other services they need, including social, psychological and medical services.
